No phone number
You only choose a name — any name. No number, no email, no access to your address book.
Test phase
HuVam is a messenger for chats and calls with end-to-end encryption. No phone number, no email, no ads. Not us, not your provider, not anyone who gets into the server can read a single word.
Android · Windows · browser. iPhone and Mac coming soon.

You only choose a name — any name. No number, no email, no access to your address book.
Every message, photo, voice note and call. HuVam simply has no unencrypted chats.
It only passes on locked envelopes. Your conversations live on your devices, not with us.
End-to-end encryption
Only you see the text. It never leaves your phone in readable form.
Before sending, HuVam encrypts the message with a key made just for it.
Our server passes on a locked envelope of a standard size. It cannot know what is inside or who is writing to whom.
Only your contact's device holds the key. There the text becomes text again — for them alone.
Three steps and you are connected.
On your phone or computer — or just open it in the browser. Pick a name, and that is it.
Show a QR code or send a one-time invite link. Its key is passed hand to hand; our server only keeps a sealed envelope it cannot open.
Messages, photos, voice notes, video calls — one to one and in groups of up to 50 people.

You do not need to understand the technology — HuVam does it all for you. But if you are curious, here is how it works.
They are created on your device and never go to the server.
Each key is erased right after use. Even a stolen key cannot open past messages, and future ones only until the other person replies.
The encryption is designed to withstand future quantum computers: what is intercepted today stays unreadable for many years.
Compare the code with the other person when you meet: if it matches, nobody is in between. If their keys suddenly change, HuVam warns you.
Voice and video are encrypted end to end — one to one and in groups. The server relays them but cannot decrypt them.
Notifications come straight from our server — without the push services of big companies.
Server logs are switched off. Undelivered packets are erased after 7 days.
Replies, reactions, edits, forwarding, polls and voice notes.
Set a timer and messages delete themselves.
Opens once, then it is gone. It cannot be saved.
Voice and video, hold, a second incoming call during a call.
Up to 50 members, group calls, admins.
Up to 8 computers and browsers, linked to your phone with a QR code.
PIN and fingerprint, automatic lock.
No name, no text — just “New message”.
Light and dark theme. Updates arrive on their own.

36 languages · one network
HuVam speaks 36 European languages. Every point of light is a message: locked on the sender's phone and opened only by the recipient. The server in the EU only passes on closed envelopes.

No encryption protects against everything. Here is what depends on you.
Spyware sees what you see. Install apps only from trusted places and keep your system up to date.
Lose your phone without a backup and your messages are gone: we do not have them. Make a backup and keep its code safe.
Encryption cannot stop them from copying the text or photographing the screen with another phone.
HuVam in the browser is convenient but less protected than the app: a lot depends on the browser itself.
HuVam is currently in its test phase. The encryption is built only on proven, widely recognised methods; independent experts will review it before the public release.
Free. No sign-up and no phone number.

Nothing to install — just open it. Less protected than the app.
Open in the browserComing soon. Until then, use HuVam in the browser on iPhone and Mac.
During the test phase HuVam is free and has no ads.
A phone number ties you to your real identity. HuVam does not need it: contacts are added with a QR code or a link.
An attacker gets only locked envelopes without the keys. They cannot read them.
Directly from the old phone or from a backup. Both are encrypted with your code — we cannot read them.
While HuVam is in its test phase, we distribute it directly. The app is signed with our key and updates itself from our server.
